Product Description
Description
Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ is an advanced, high-impact engineered PLA filament designed to bridge the gap between easy-to-print standard PLA and heavy-duty functional thermoplastics like ABS.
Engineered with an enhanced polymer matrix, PLA Tough+ delivers up to 10x higher impact resistance and superior tough-bend flexural strength compared to basic PLA. It maintains the low thermal expansion, warp resistance, and odorless printing characteristics of standard PLA while providing the mechanical toughness needed for functional prototypes, snap-fit assemblies, mechanical brackets, and end-use tools. Equipped with an integrated RFID tag, it seamlessly auto-detects material profiles and settings when loaded into the Bambu Lab Automatic Material System (AMS).
Features
Built to Take a Beating
Engineered for real-world impact, Bambu PLA Tough+ delivers toughness on par with ABS and offers up to 2× stronger layer adhesion than standard PLA. It shrugs off bumps, drops, and hits, making it ideal for RC cars, model planes, and durable tools.
Withstands Repeated Flexing
Designed for repeated flexing, Bambu PLA Tough+ outlasts standard PLA where it typically fails. It’s perfect for prints that need to bend without breaking—like springs, clips, and connectors.
Prints That Last
With enhanced durability, Bambu PLA Tough+ maintains its performance over time, extending the lifespan of standard PLA prints and making it suitable for demanding, tool-grade applications. Use it for parts that need impact resistance and repeated flexing.

Safety Precautions
-
Always print in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
-
Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
-
Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
-
Unplug the printer when not in use.
-
Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
-
Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
-
Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.
PLA
- Safe and low-odor filament, but still print with good ventilation.
- Avoid overheating to prevent smoke or odor.
- Allow the print to cool down before removing from the bed.
