QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES — September 28, 2026 — Makerlab PH, a leading provider of 3D printing equipment, materials, and digital fabrication solutions in the Philippines, officially opened its newest store location at 4F The Annex, SM North EDSA on September 26, 2026. The launch marks a milestone achievement for the brand as its first branch inside an SM Premier mall.
The grand opening expands Makerlab’s growing retail footprint across Metro Manila, building on the success of its initial SM location at SM City East Ortigas and its ongoing educational workshop operations at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The new SM North EDSA branch aims to make beginner-friendly 3D printers, high-performance filaments, and technical support more accessible to northern Metro Manila’s expanding community of engineers, designers, hobbyists, and educators.
Executive Ribbon-Cutting and Industry Gathering
The opening ceremony featured an official ribbon-cutting led by Makerlab PH founders Mike Jassen Sy and Wendell Harris Chan, alongside SM North EDSA Assistant Mall Manager Michael Vincent Uy.

Also present during the inauguration were key members of Forward Collective, the creative and strategic team behind the Makerlab - SM North EDSA concept store design and execution.
The event drew prominent figures from the local additive manufacturing and maker community, including official Makerlab Ambassador Dr. Shiela3DPrints, alongside key opinion leaders (KOLs) Ranns Jugueta and Kevin Casus.
High-Profile Support and Community Engagement
Reflecting broad interest in consumer and desktop 3D printing technology, the opening weekend also saw visits from prominent broadcast journalists Mariz Umali and Raffy Tima on September 27th, who toured the facility and acquired premium filaments for their personal projects.
