Inspiring Young Minds: Makerlab PH Highlights STEM Innovation at Mommy Mundo Expo Kid
PASIG CITY, PHILIPPINES — Makerlab PH brought the future of creative learning to life at the Mommy Mundo Expo Kid held on September 19-20 at Estancia Mall. As families gathered for two days of fun and exploration, Makerlab created an engaging interactive zone where children and parents could discover the power of 3D printing technology firsthand.

Interactive Fun & 3D Printed Toys
At the heart of the exhibit were live demonstrations of the Bambu Lab 3D Printer lineup. Kids were thrilled by the display of colorful, 3D-printed interactive toys — from articulated dragons and spinning tops to mechanical puzzles — showing young attendees how digital designs transform into physical objects right before their eyes.
To make the experience hands-on, Makerlab handed out 3D-printed coloring kits. Kids were able to color raised 3D plastic canvases, blending tactile art with modern manufacturing technology.

Hands-On Workshops for Young Creators
Makerlab hosted dedicated basic 3D printing workshops tailored for children. Guided by Makerlab’s technical team, young participants learned:
- 3D Design Basics: How simple geometric shapes form complex models.
- Slicing & Printing: How a 3D printer builds objects layer-by-layer.
- Safety & Operation: How to safely handle desktop 3D printers and eco-friendly PLA filaments.
