Makerlab Electronics Advances Connectivity in Central Visayas
Makerlab Electronics is proud to share the successful deployment of RCast Box / REIIN Technology through the Rural Casting (RCast) Device at Baslay Elementary School and Maayongtubig Elementary School in Dauin, Negros Oriental—marking the first-ever installation in Central Visayas and the first RCast deployment outside Luzon.
This milestone highlights Makerlab Electronics’ commitment to bringing technology closer to communities through connectivity solutions, LoRa integration, digital learning support, and inclusive innovation for students, educators, and local stakeholders.
Deployment Highlights
- Day 1 – Coordination & Partnership Development: Site visits, stakeholder coordination, and formal partnership discussions to support deployment planning, LokalFi opportunities, and ongoing LoRa integration efforts.
- Day 2 – Training, Deployment & Field Validation: Seminar-forum sessions, live demonstrations, user training, and successful installations at the two partner schools.
- Community Impact: Expanded access to technology and stronger foundations for sustainable connectivity solutions in underserved areas.
More than a technical deployment, this initiative represents meaningful progress toward long-term, community-centered connectivity solutions that empower schools and support future-ready learning environments.
