Product Description

Description

Sunlu ASA is the go-to choice for outdoor applications. While ABS is prone to becoming brittle and yellowing under sunlight, ASA is highly UV-resistant, making it perfect for automotive parts, garden equipment, and exterior signage. Sunlu’s formulation is engineered for lower shrinkage and better interlayer adhesion than standard ASA, which helps reduce the "warping" effect often associated with technical filaments. When printed, it results in a sleek, matte-satin finish that can be post-processed using acetone vapor for a glass-smooth surface.

Features

Built for Outdoors – Excellent UV, rain, and heat resistance, ideal for long-term outdoor and high-temperature functional parts.
Stronger & Tougher Than PLA/ABS – High strength with excellent layer adhesion for durable mechanical and structural prints.
Smooth, Reliable Printing – No clogging, no bubbles, no tangles, with ±0.02 mm precision for stable, hassle-free printing.

Safety Precautions

  • Always print in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
  • Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
  • Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
  • Unplug the printer when not in use.
  • Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
  • Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
  • Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.

ASA
- Emits fumes similar to ABS, so print with ventilation or exhaust fan.
- Avoid touching hot or melted filament.
- Let the print cool before removing it from the printer.
