Description
Polymaker PolyMide CoPA is a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 66. By combining these two polyamides, Polymaker has created a material that leverages the high heat resistance of Nylon 66 with the processability of Nylon 6.
The standout feature of this filament is Polymaker’s Warp-Free™ technology. Unlike traditional Nylon, which requires a high-temperature heated chamber to prevent shrinking and pulling off the bed, CoPA can be printed on most desktop 3D printers with excellent dimensional stability. Once printed, it can withstand temperatures up to 180°C, making it ideal for under-the-hood automotive parts or industrial machinery components.

Printing Requirements

All-metal hotend that can reach 250˚C recommended.

Filament dryer required - the material is very hygroscopic.

Annealing and then moisture conditioning post printing.
And that's all! This material does not require an enclosure or anything special to print.
Overhangs and supports can be difficult - so it is recommended you either use dissolvable support material or you design your part to not require support structures.
