Product Description

Description

PolyLite™ PC is produced using a specialized Polycarbonate resin specifically formulated for 3D printing. While standard PC can be notoriously difficult to print due to extreme warping, PolyLite™ PC features a high molecular weight that improves its printability while maintaining the core strengths of the material.

The Transparent version is prized for its ability to produce parts with excellent light transmission. When printed with specialized settings (thick layers and 100% infill), it can create nearly glass-like functional prototypes. Its high Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) makes it the go-to choice for lighting fixtures, electrical housings, and mechanical components that must operate in high-temperature environments.

Features

PolyLite™ PC: Translucent, Heat Resistant, and Stiff

Engineered Polycarbonate for 3D Printing PolyLite™ PC is crafted from a polycarbonate resin specifically designed for 3D printing, ensuring reliable performance and ease of use. This formulation provides excellent stiffness and heat resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications.
Light Diffusing and Translucent Properties With its impressive translucency, PolyLite™ PC allows light to pass through, making it an excellent choice for projects that require light diffusion or aesthetic illumination effects.
Simple Printing with Enclosure For best results, print PolyLite™ PC in an enclosure that traps ambient air. This helps maintain stable temperatures and produces stunning, high-quality prints with minimal warping. Ideal for Functional and Aesthetic Parts
Choose PolyLite™ PC when you need a filament that combines stiffness, heat resistance, and beautiful translucency - perfect for both functional components and visually striking models.

Safety Precautions

  • Always print in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
  • Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
  • Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
  • Unplug the printer when not in use.
  • Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
  • Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
  • Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.

Polycarbonate (PC)

  • Can give off unpleasant fumes — always use ventilation.
  • Avoid breathing the smoke from overheated prints.
  • Allow parts to cool before handling.
