Product Description
Description
Polymaker Fiberon PETG-ESD (formerly PolyMax PETG-ESD) is an advanced filament compounded with carbon nanotubes rather than carbon fiber. This allows the material to dissipate electrostatic charges effectively without the extreme abrasiveness or brittleness often associated with fiber-filled materials.
It is specifically designed for the electronics industry, automotive sectors, and cleanroom environments. Unlike standard PETG, the "Fiberon" formulation is optimized for high-speed printing (up to 500 mm/s) and offers improved toughness (impact resistance) while maintaining the ease of use and chemical resistance PETG is known for.
Features
Fiberon™ PETG-ESD: ESD-Safe PETG for Electronics Applications
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection Fiberon™ PETG-ESD is specifically engineered to provide reliable electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety, making it an excellent choice for 3D printing parts used in electronics manufacturing, assembly, and handling. This property helps protect sensitive electronic components from static electricity damage during production and use.
Enhanced Toughness Beyond ESD protection, Fiberon™ PETG-ESD offers improved toughness compared to standard PETG, delivering greater impact resistance and durability for demanding industrial applications.
Advanced Carbon Nanotube Compounding This filament is compounded with carbon nanotubes, which are responsible for its ESD-safe properties. The use of carbon nanotubes ensures consistent conductivity throughout the printed part, maintaining ESD protection even after machining or wear.
Ideal Applications
-
Electronic housings and enclosures
-
Jigs and fixtures for PCB assembly
-
Trays and storage for electronic components
-
Tools and parts used in ESD-sensitive environments
Choose Fiberon™ PETG-ESD for your electronics projects when you need a tough, reliable, and ESD-safe 3D printing material.

Safety Precautions
-
Always print in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
-
Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
-
Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
-
Unplug the printer when not in use.
-
Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
-
Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
-
Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.
PETG
- Low odor but still print with airflow or ventilation.
- Allow the printed part to cool down before removing or handling.
