Description
The i7 Toolhead Manifold is the convergence point of the printer's multi-material system. Also referred to by Creality as the Filament Hub, this 4-in-1 block accepts filament from up to four PTFE tubes and merges them into a single feed path leading down into the extruder assembly. Positioned above the filament sensor at the top of the toolhead, it keeps each incoming line separated, aligned, and correctly seated so the printer can select any of the four loaded materials on demand.
That routing job is what makes clean multi-color printing possible on the SPARKX i7 with the CFS Lite system. Each colour change sends filament through this block during unload and reload, so the internal channels see constant abrasion over long multi-material runs. Worn, scored, or clogged channels introduce friction that shows up as failed loads, jammed filament changes, inconsistent feeding, or mid-print colour swap errors. Fitting a fresh manifold restores smooth, low-friction guidance through all four paths and returns the toolhead to normal switching behaviour.
