Description
The Nozzle Eddy Sensor is used to detect whether the nozzle is wrapped by molten filament. It watches for filament building up around the nozzle tip and lets the printer pause before the blob grows large enough to collide with the print or damage the toolhead. This is the Right sensor — the left nozzle uses a separate part.
Features:
Detects Nozzle Blobbing: Senses molten filament wrapping around the nozzle, so the printer can stop before a blob causes damage.
Protects the Toolhead: Catching a blob early prevents the far more expensive damage that comes from a hardened mass of filament around the hotend.
Right-Side Sensor: Serves the right nozzle. The left nozzle uses a separate sensor with different mounting screws.
Complete Hardware Set: Ships with both BT2-5 and M2-5 mounting screws.
When to Replace: False blob detection errors, failure to detect a genuine nozzle blob, or visible damage to the sensor after a blob event.
