Description
The front door sensor is a small circuit board mounted on the inside of the front column of the printer to sense the opened or closed status of the glass front door of the P2S.

Magnetic Hall-Effect Technology: Non-contact sensing means there are no mechanical switches to wear out or snap over thousands of door cycles.
Intelligent Printing Logic: Enables the "Pause on Door Open" feature, preventing accidental contact with the high-speed 600mm/s toolhead.
Thermal Integrity Monitoring: Communicates with the Bambu Handy app to alert users if the chamber seal is broken during heat-sensitive print jobs.
Low-Profile Integration: Designed to sit flush within the internal frame, ensuring it doesn't interfere with the magnetic latching of the glass door.
Shielded Wiring: The sensor lead is pre-wrapped in an anti-interference sleeve to prevent the nearby high-voltage motors from causing "ghost" door-open signals.
