The Armored Komodo (Arkom) Regular Plastic Cement (PH635) is a high-performance solvent adhesive specifically formulated for bonding polystyrene (PS) plastics, the standard material for most Gundam and scale model kits. Unlike typical glues that sit on top of a surface, this "regular" viscosity cement works by slightly melting the plastic on both sides of a joint. When the parts are pressed together, the plastic fuses into a single, incredibly strong permanent bond, effectively welding the pieces together.
This 30 ml bottle features a convenient brush-in-cap applicator, making it ideal for applying a controlled amount of adhesive to larger mating surfaces or for creating "plastic goo" to fill small gaps. Its slightly thicker consistency compared to "extra thin" variants allows for a bit more working time, giving modelers the chance to perfectly align parts before the bond sets. Once fully cured, the joint can be sanded, carved, or painted just like the surrounding plastic, ensuring a seamless and professional-grade assembly.
