Product Description
Description:
This antenna kit is the standard solution for projects where the microcontroller is housed inside a metal or thick plastic enclosure, which typically blocks internal signals. By using the included IPEX (U.FL) to RP-SMA pigtail cable, you can mount the antenna outside the chassis.
The antenna features a swivel design, allowing it to be rotated 90 degrees to optimize signal polarization. With a 3dBi gain, it provides a more focused and powerful radiation pattern compared to the small "trace antennas" printed directly on PCB modules.
Features:
Significant Range Extension: Boosts signal strength and reduces packet loss in IoT applications.
Flexible Mounting: The pigtail cable allows for easy chassis mounting (requires a 6.5mm).
Wide Compatibility: Works with any 2.4GHz device using an IPEX/U.FL connector, including ESP8266, ESP32, CC3000, and many WiFi routers.
Adjustable Angle: The hinged design allows for vertical or horizontal orientation to match your router's signal orientation.
Low Signal Loss: High-quality RG178 coaxial cable ensures minimal signal degradation between the module and the antenna.
