This module is a synchronous step-up (boost) converter charger. Since a Type-C input typically provides 5V, this intelligent board boosts the voltage to the 8.4V required to fully charge two 18650 or 21700 batteries connected in series.
It features a sophisticated charging algorithm that includes a "trickle charge" mode for deeply discharged batteries, constant current (CC) charging, and constant voltage (CV) termination.
