Product Description
Description
Polymaker PolyFlex™ TPU90 is a high-performance thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament engineered using Covestro’s Addigy® resin family. Designed specifically to bridge the gap between ultra-soft elastomeric materials and fast 3D printing, TPU90 provides high elasticity and flexibility without causing typical feeding jams. Featuring a 90A Shore hardness, it is softer and more compliant than standard 95A TPU. It is UV-resistant and skin-contact safe, making it suitable for functional prototypes, wearables, gaskets, bumpers, drone parts, and custom insoles.
Features
Engineered for Superior Flexibility PolyFlex™ TPU90, developed from Covestro’s Addigy® family, is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filament designed to deliver outstanding flexibility without sacrificing printing speed.
Ultra-Soft Shore Hardness With a shore hardness of just 90A, PolyFlex™ TPU90 is exceptionally soft and highly flexible—making it ideal for applications that require a gentle touch and high elasticity.
Optimized for Direct Extruders Due to its very soft nature, a direct drive extruder is recommended to ensure smooth and reliable printing, minimizing the risk of filament jams or feeding issues. Perfect for Soft, Functional Parts
Choose PolyFlex™ TPU90 for projects like phone cases, watch straps, or any part that demands softness, flexibility, and comfort.

Safety Precautions
-
Always print in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
-
Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
-
Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
-
Unplug the printer when not in use.
-
Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
-
Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
-
Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.
TPU / TPE (Flexible Filaments)
- Print with basic ventilation.
- - Let flexible prints cool down before removing from the bed to avoid burns or deformation.
