Product Description

Description

Polymaker HT-PLA-GF is a specialized PLA composite infused with 8% – 10% chopped glass fibers. This reinforcement significantly increases the material's stiffness and dimensional stability compared to standard PLA.

The "HT" stands for High Temperature; unlike standard PLA, which softens at 60°C, this filament is designed to undergo an annealing process after printing. Once annealed, the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) can reach nearly 100°C, making it suitable for under-the-hood automotive clips, industrial jigs, and high-load mechanical housings that would typically require nylon.

Features

Built for serious performance

Polymaker™ HT-PLA-GF combines high-temperature stability with enhanced strength and durability. Withstands up to 150°C without sagging or losing form. When annealed, it can be perfect for functional parts that need to endure the heat. Learn More About the Product

Effortless Printing, Supercharged Prints beautifully with standard PLA settings and supports speeds up to 350mm/s. Just load and go—no specialized tuning required.

Reinforced with Glass Fiber Tougher. Stronger. Smarter. HT-PLA-GF is glass fiber-reinforced, delivering higher stiffness and durability for demanding applications.
Note: This material is abrasive—use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle for best results.

Need Extra Heat Deflection? Anneal at 80–100°C for 30 minutes (we recommend 100°C) for an even higher HDT.

9 Striking Colors Available in 9 bold shades, HT-PLA-GF brings serious strength and style to your prints.

Safety Precautions

  • Always print in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
  • Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
  • Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
  • Unplug the printer when not in use.
  • Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
  • Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
  • Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.

PLA

  • Safe and low-odor filament, but still print with good ventilation.
  • Avoid overheating to prevent smoke or odor.
  • Allow the print to cool down before removing from the bed.
