Product Description
Description
Polymaker ASA is the workhorse of outdoor 3D printing. While ABS is prone to yellowing and becoming brittle when exposed to sunlight, Polymaker’s ASA formula is inherently UV-resistant, ensuring your parts maintain their color and mechanical integrity even after years of sun exposure.
It features Polymaker's proprietary Jam-Free™ technology, which increases the heat stability of the filament to prevent softening in the cold end of the extruder. This results in a much more reliable printing experience compared to generic ASA. With its high heat resistance (100°C+) and excellent interlayer adhesion, it is the go-to choice for automotive exterior parts, sporting goods, and outdoor sensor housings.
Features
Polymaker™ ASA: UV Resistant, Outdoor-Ready Performance
Superior Weather and UV Resistance Polymaker™ ASA is engineered as an advanced alternative to ABS, offering improved weather resistance and excellent UV stability. This makes it the ideal filament for outdoor applications where exposure to sunlight and the elements is a concern.
Robust Mechanical Properties With mechanical strength and durability comparable to ABS, Polymaker™ ASA delivers reliable performance for functional parts, enclosures, and prototypes that need to withstand real-world conditions.
Easy Transition from ABS Polymaker™ ASA prints with settings very similar to ABS, making it easy to switch for users familiar with ABS printing. Simply use an enclosed 3D printer to ensure optimal temperature control and minimize warping.
Perfect for Outdoor and Functional Parts Choose Polymaker™ ASA for any project that demands UV resistance, weather durability, and strong mechanical properties- perfect for outdoor use and long-lasting results.

Safety Precautions
-
Always print in a well-ventilated area.
-
Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
-
Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
-
Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
-
Unplug the printer when not in use.
-
Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
-
Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
-
Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.
ASA
- Emits fumes similar to ABS, so print with ventilation or exhaust fan.
- Avoid touching hot or melted filament.
- Let the print cool before removing it from the printer.
