GT2 Belt Tensioning Spring

A GT2 Belt Tensioning Spring is designed to clip directly onto a 6mm wide GT2 timing belt. Its primary purpose is to act as a "shock absorber" for the motion system. By applying a constant spring force to the belt, it automatically compensates for the slight stretching that occurs in rubber belts over time.

A handy little spring to pop onto timing belts that keep things tight and tensioned easily.
We've tested these with GT2 Belts, T2.5mm, and T5 belts. Will probably suit any belt that is 6mm wide.
