The 4010 Axial Fan is a specialized 40 x 40 x 10mm cooling unit primarily utilized for hotend heatsink cooling (cold-end cooling). In OrangeStorm Giga's high-temperature environment, this fan's role is critical: it prevents "heat creep" by blowing air across the titanium alloy heat pipe, ensuring the filament remains solid until it reaches the heater block.
Unlike the larger 5015 blower fans that focus on cooling the printed model, this axial fan is tuned for continuous, quiet operation. It features a ball-bearing motor designed for the extreme reliability required by Giga's multi-day print cycles.
