Product Description
Description:
These Z-axis limit switches are critical safety and calibration components. Because the Creality Hi utilizes a dual-Z motor setup, it requires independent "Right" and "Left" switches to ensure the gantry is perfectly level during the homing process.
The switches are mounted to the vertical frame extrusions and are triggered when the Z-axis gantry descends to its lowest point. This prevents the hotend from crashing into the build plate and allows the printer to establish a consistent starting height for every print. Each switch is pre-wired with a specialized connector designed to plug directly into the Hi series' mainboard or breakout board without soldering.
Features:
-
Dual-Homing Accuracy: Independent left and right sensors allow the printer to automatically "square" the gantry, correcting any slight tilt between the two Z-stepper motors.
-
High-Sensitivity Actuators: Uses high-quality micro-switches with a short travel distance for a repeatable and precise trigger point (within 0.01mm).
-
Reinforced Mounting Brackets: Each switch comes pre-installed on a custom-molded plastic or metal bracket designed to sit flush against Creality Hi's unique frame profile.
-
Plug-and-Play Installation: Includes the correct length of shielded cable to reach the internal electronics bay, preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) from the nearby Z-motors.
-
Dust-Resistant Design: Switch housing is designed to minimize the entry of filament debris or dust, ensuring long-term reliability in workshop environments.
