Description
The i7 Purge Wiper is a structural component of the printer's automated waste management system, positioned right next to the purge chute assembly at the back corner of the print bed.
When the printer executes an automated nozzle purge sequence—such as right before a print starts or during mid-print color swaps using the CFS Lite multi-material manager—molten filament is extruded into the chute. The Purge Wiper uses a mechanical deflector lever mechanism to cleanly break off, catch, and guide the extruded filament poops down into the waste collection bucket. This prevents extruded waste from sticking to the nozzle or getting dragged back onto the active print bed.
