The Creality A1C Infrared 1.2W Module expands the crafting versatility of the Falcon A1C ecosystem by introducing dedicated 1064nm Infrared (IR) laser technology. Traditional blue diode lasers (455nm) pass straight through or reflect away from untreated metals and acrylics, often requiring marking sprays or coatings to get results.
Operating in the infrared light spectrum, this 1.2W module interacts perfectly with metal surfaces. It allows for high-contrast, permanent engraving on raw metals like gold, silver, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and brass, as well as opaque plastics and acrylics, without requiring any prep work. Equipped with an ultra-fine laser spot measuring just 0.03 x 0.03mm, it yields razor-sharp textures, detailed grayscale photos, and crisp industrial serialization bar codes. Thanks to the A1C's magnetic quick-swap toolhead dock, switching out your standard engraving toolhead for this specialized IR option takes only a few seconds.
