Product Description
Description
These nozzles feature a specialized quick-release design that allows for tool-free swaps in seconds. Unlike traditional nozzles that require hot-tightening with a wrench, these units integrate the nozzle and internal heat-break geometry into a single module that clicks into place.
Constructed from hardened steel, these nozzles are specifically designed to handle abrasive materials like Carbon Fiber (PLA-CF/PETG-CF), Wood-fill, and Glow-in-the-dark filaments without the bore diameter widening over time. They are essential for the Kobra X’s multi-material system, ensuring a clean filament path for the rapid 35-second color swaps.
Features
Hardened Steel Construction: Offers significantly higher wear resistance compared to standard brass, enabling the use of industrial and composite filaments.
Tool-Free Quick-Release: Pop it off, Swap it On mechanism allows users to change nozzle sizes mid-project without risking burns or stripped threads.
Size Versatility:
-
0.25 mm: For ultra-fine detail, miniatures, and high-resolution jewelry-like prints.
-
0.4 mm: The standard workhorse size for a balance of speed and detail.
-
0.6 mm: Ideal for functional parts and abrasive filaments (CF/GF) where clog resistance is prioritized.
-
0.8 mm: For maximum volumetric flow, rapid prototyping, and ultra-thick layer heights.
High-Flow Internal Geometry: Optimized for the Kobra X’s 600 mm/s peak speeds, preventing under-extrusion during rapid moves.
Integrated Heat Break: The design minimizes the distance between the filament cutter and the melt zone, reducing waste during color purges.
