Product Description

Description

Anycubic ASA is widely considered the outdoor version of ABS. It offers the same structural strength and high-temperature stability as ABS but adds a critical layer of UV resistance. While ABS will yellow and become brittle when exposed to sunlight, Anycubic ASA maintains its color, mechanical integrity, and surface finish even after prolonged outdoor exposure.

This filament is optimized for low-odor printing compared to standard ABS and features a high heat deflection temperature of 90°C, making it the ideal choice for automotive parts, outdoor enclosures, signage, and garden equipment.

Features

Superior Weather Resistance
Outstanding resistance to sunlight, water, and aging. It can fend off UV rays, complex weather changes, and harsh natural environments. Printed models remain undamaged, resistant to aging and fading even after long exposure outdoors.

Low Odor
Compared to ABS filament, it emits a much lower odor during the printing process, reducing discomfort for those sensitive to smells, creating a more comfortable printing environment.

High-Temperature Resilience
More stable in high temperatures compared to other standard materials. Anycubic ASA filament has a heat deformation temperature of up to 90°C, while ABS, PETG, and PLA have temperatures of 75°C, 63°C, and 53°C, respectively.

Excellent Mechanical Performance
Printed models can withstand moderate impact forces without easily deforming or breaking, making them suitable for printing engineering parts or models needed outdoors.

Safety Precautions

  • Always print in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid breathing the fumes while printing.
  • Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling.
  • Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets.
  • Unplug the printer when not in use.
  • Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture.
  • Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts.
  • Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable.

ASA

  • Emits fumes similar to ABS, so print with ventilation or exhaust fan.
  • Avoid touching hot or melted filament.
  • Let the print cool before removing it from the printer.
